The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued the Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (20 CFR 1910.1030) in 1991 to protect workers who are at risk of exposure to the microorganisms that can cause disease.  Our EMS Safety Services Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to exceed OSHA standards.
